Ya, breakthroughs in music are far and few between... I'm not trying to say music is easy, because composing music is not, but it's easier then trying to remember every protein and subunit that goes with some random ass mechanism...

now that all dcpcnds....my hubby was a music and geology major, sometimes he had more work with the music than science.....lots of practice, having to write music, learn instruments that hee didnt know etc...though memorizing all the cheemical compositions of just about every mineral was rough too.
I likeed the quartr system.....3 of theem a year, you changeed every 11 wks....long enough to know if you liked the class, short enough if you didnt.
(think I will look for a neew kyboard today....this ee thing is getting on my nervs!)

azzer how long do you let it hang? It doesn't spoil in open air? The last big thing other than music genres, I think was Les Paul with the electric guitar.

Ya, music is a lot of work. It takes a LONG time to compose music but once you do it it is not generally that hard. There isn't quite as much to remember as sometimes it is hit and miss. If it doesn't sound good, you can change it. If you screw up in science, little harder to fix because it won't always just sound wrong.
That sounds interesting azzer... I could see how it would work though.

if I were to hang a ham on my porch, it would b gone the nxt day---the raccoons or birds would havee takeeen it by then.(and som of the local dogs would find a way to get up to my 3rd floor condo too!)....not a good idea around heree.
in othr news I did ordr anothr kyboard, so my horrible posts will b a bit neatr soon (getting tird of watching what I typ to mak sur that dumb lttr is there---its OLD already!)....arrrghhh!!!!!!!
composing music wasnt the problm, it was all th practicing that was rcquired....and all th ensembls that you had to b a part of---took lots of timee for all of that.....
if you tak all your tests in science you will probably get a passing gradee somwher down th line----had a friend who never got her music degreee bcause the teacher wouldnt let her do her (solo) concerts--required for graduation....(she gave up---ran out of money). the arts r sooo subjcctive, if a teacher dosnt likee you for some reason, you aree totally screewd!

I have a balcony so i hang it behind a window, sometimes i open window to get more sun out of it, but it's not much different from sun through the window.
And no, it's a piece of ham that kan hang there for 1 year + without getting bad, usually gets eaten before that though.
haha cosy, Your posts do indeed look quite funny

Well I just got out of court again and another continuance. This was the fourth time in 6 months and still no trial. If I as a witness decide not to show up I am in contempt of court and probably would be punished quicker than defendant. But they pay me $6 for my effort, I refuse it (it is an insult). Enough venting. I have all the respect in the world for people who can create and play music, but as you said pwnd, if it sounds bad it can be changed without any harm. If a biologist makes a mistake and creates a killer organism, you just can't say oops to that.

That sucks. My dad is the chairperson here and if a faculty member held a student out without a good reason then he would have a stern talk with the faculty member.
Sorry to hear you are still stuck in court RR.

It's been a series of reasons. 1. Defendant was late and arrived after found in default. 2 Defendant's lawyer's mother died. 3. Defendants lawyer sick. 4 Defendant was sick.
The court system has cost me more than the defendant as I got my phone back. I keep getting summoned for the state as a witness.

I am writing a letter to the District Attorney today, I needed a day to cool off so I didn't say something I might regret. I think cosy's keyboard is also typing French and German for some reason.

We got rain and cold last night so it only makes sense for you to be getting it soon. And as far as I am concerned, you can have it. I don't want it.
